The DePaul Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society Chapter is proud to present this annual event representing women impacting the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

For this year’s forum, we will have the pleasure of having Dr. Mena Whalen speak about her experience and career path in the Data Science Industry.

Dr. Whalen is a professor at Loyola University, where her area of expertise dives into time series analysis, with emphasis in change point analysis, spatial analysis, data visualizing and network models.

Dr. Whalen earned her B.S. from Missouri State University in Mathematics, and then went on to Northwestern University to receive her Ph.D. in Statistics in 2021.

Please join us and hear about Dr. Whalen’s inspiring journey through the industry, and how she successfully endures through the data science career field.
