  • How do I join Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) here at DePaul University?
    • To become a member of UPE, a student will be invited through a one-time invitation sent by us, based on your academic criteria, designated by International Upsilon Pi Epsilon Constitution.
    • If you join our group on our internal student web portal, DeHub, you may follow our events and news, but you will not be considered an official UPE honor society member.
  • What is the academic criteria to become a UPE member at DePaul University?
    • For Undergraduates:
      • 69 credit hours completed
      • GPA of 3.5/4.0
    • For Graduates:
      • 24 credit hours completed
      • GPA of 3.75/4.0
  • Is there any fee associated with joining the UPE DePaul Chapter?
    • There is an initiation fee of $95.00 to become a member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society.
  • What is the benefit of joining UPE?
    • As a member of UPE, you will have the benefits of:
      • Enhanced Resume– Acceptance into an honor society can help distinguish you from other candidates.
      • Graduation Recognition– As a member of UPE, you will have the honor and privilege of wearing the UPE regalia at your graduation ceremony.  These cords will distinguish you as top scholars, as it will display your excellence in academic achievement here at DePaul University!
      • Scholarships– When you become a member of UPE, you will have access to apply for UPE scholarships, at the local and national level!
